Covering: Granton, Trinity, Boswall, East Pilton, Wardieburn.
The local landmark: The restored Granton gasholder, now a public park lit up each evening, is north Edinburgh's most visible landmark.
Students: Edinburgh College's Granton campus on West Granton Road is in EH5.
On the ground: Post war terraces and four in a block houses, with new lift served flats rising around Granton Harbour. Kerbside works well here: have everything at the door and the driver loads.
While you wait for the van: The world's first train ferry, the Leviathan, began carrying railway wagons from Granton across the Forth to Burntisland in 1850.
