Covering: Bo'ness, Carriden, Muirhouses, Grangepans, Borrowstoun.
The local landmark: The Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway, Scotland's largest heritage steam railway, runs along the Forth shore below Kinneil House.
On the ground: Steep streets drop towards the Forth, with older terraces and flats in the town centre and newer estates on the higher ground. Kerbside works well here: have everything at the door and the driver loads.
While you wait for the van: James Watt developed and tested his improved steam engine in a workshop at Kinneil House in Bo'ness in the late 1760s.
